Lol, this board was dead. XD
Anyways, if anybody remembers, I do webdesign. I taught myself when I was 9, and my interest came from Neopets. I loved making those petpages; I even won awards for my favourite one. 'Twas great, but I kinda lost interest in petpages as one of my closest online friends quit.
I've had a lot of websites, though, and I still have one. I would talk about this a little bit, but blathering about that would take too long, and it'll be on my website, anyway. XD Anyways, my current website is called Ninja Kitty, and it's hosted on my friend's domain. I wish I had my own domain, but you know, I'm lazy with my site(s), so until I actually have most of it completed, I can ask for one. Maybe.
Okay, anyway.
So here's the first design. It's fully coded, though it may not be final; since there are only a few links and the box is pretty big. I can fix that later if I'm not changing the links. It uses XHTML 1.0 Strict, which is valid, and valid CSS. This layout also uses PHP, and is designed for Firefox, but still works in IE. The links turn red when you hover over them, and the letters become lowecase and striked out. Credits for the graphics and brushes go to Aethereality Gallery, Smashmethod, CRCharisma, and Misprinted Type.
Technical stuff aside, I like this layout, but I realise now why I stopped making these blog-like/scrolling div layouts for my websites. I don't like how the scrollbar looks. I also worry about the text being easy to read, but it isn't too bad...I think. Other than that, I like this one. The text on the layout was taken from the poem "Song" by Christina Rossetti, one of my favourite poets. ;D I don't know if I'll actually be using this for NK, though. :/ Eh. It was fun, anyway. XD
I probably said things that you don't understand in this post, but I don't know how to word it without using those terms. Heh. Well, more designs to come! ;D
