I just realized I never knew if you guys did origami. And if your wondering, yes, I do. And just recently, I made two huge ones. One of a shuriken and one of a crane. Here's the pictures...It may be hard to tell how big they are in person, but I used things like my door and cat to show how big it is. Look at my cat in the crane picture...top right corner. Squee! Lol when my grandpa was sick with cancer, I had to make 1000 cranes...in a Japanese tradition, giving someone 1000 cranes while theyre sick will bring them good luck..then he died a few months later...

Yeah, I know about the thousand cranes. I read Sadako when I was in grade 4. Very good story. :] When I'm really sick, I find myself folding cranes. XD;; Wow.
Oh...that's terrible. I never knew my grandpa on my mom's side and my other grandpa died last year.

A japanese friend of mine taught me how to fold cranes! And then, that's all I did for the longest time... I folded notes to Ryan like that, and I folded paper that I coloured on into cranes... just made tons of them! (My lovebird hates them, btw... for some reason... *shrug*)
Now I've forgotten how to do it... ;-; *sigh*
Btw, Erik... AWESOME giant origami... holy cow... *claps*
A friend of mine and myself tried to make a giant paper star out of a big roll of industrial printer paper from Telus... it took the whole darn cul-de-sac to make as we ran around folding and stuff...
Never did pop out right... and throwing it away really sucked... lol

LOL...the entire cul-de-sac? That's insane. My friend Steve gave me a huge roll about 1 metre tall and with over a ka-gillion metres of paper worth. Lol so I could technically make a billion giant shurikens. W00t! I feel like Mizuki.

I have a small chain of cranes hanging in my room. I found transparent origami paper a few weeks ago, and it's really cute. n__n It has kitties, bunnies, bears and pandas, dogs, and pigs! Teehee. Those are pretty big.
